Additional Services
At Toronto Hearing Services, we’re committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care that goes beyond hearing aids. Our range of additional services is designed to support your hearing health, cognitive well-being, and overall quality of life. Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or you’re an existing patient, these offerings can enhance your treatment plan and help you feel your best every day.
Earrigator™ Cerumen Management
Excess earwax can cause discomfort, hearing loss, or even hearing aid malfunction. Our clinic uses the Earrigator™, a state-of-the-art ear irrigation system that safely and comfortably removes earwax using controlled temperature, pressure, and flow. It’s quicker, cleaner, and more comfortable than traditional methods—keeping your ears and hearing aids in top condition.
CAP (Central Auditory Processing) Testing
If you or your child experience difficulty understanding speech, especially in noisy environments, a Central Auditory Processing (CAP) test may provide answers. This specialized assessment helps us identify how well the brain processes sound, and whether auditory training or support strategies may be helpful. It’s particularly useful for children struggling in school or adults who feel their hearing is “fine” but still have trouble understanding conversations.
Cognivue® Cognitive Screening
Hearing and brain health are closely linked. We offer Cognivue®, a quick, computerized cognitive screening tool designed to assess memory, processing speed, and other key brain functions. This non-invasive test helps identify potential cognitive concerns early and allows us to tailor your hearing care more effectively—especially important for aging adults.
Redux™ Hearing Aid Drying & Cleaning System
Moisture is one of the most common causes of hearing aid damage. That’s why we offer Redux™, a professional-grade drying and cleaning system that removes moisture and buildup from hearing devices—even in areas not reachable by hand. It extends the life of your hearing aids and keeps them performing like new.
Hearing Aid Verification & Real-Ear Measurement
To ensure your hearing aids are working exactly as they should, we provide verification services using real-ear measurement technology. This gold-standard process measures how your hearing aids perform in your ear canal and allows us to fine-tune them for maximum clarity, comfort, and effectiveness.
Exercise Physiology Services (Senior-Focused)
Staying active is essential for healthy aging. Our in-house exercise physiologist specializes in working with older adults to improve strength, balance, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or simply want to stay active and independent, we offer personalized exercise plans in a supportive, safe environment.
